Bossen-en-vennen

Oisterwijkse Bossen and Vennen

We recommend a walk through the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen to everyone! Here one area is even more atmospheric than the other. Take for example the wonderful Goorven - although the name suggests otherwise.

Goor here means "swamp". Peat used to be cut here, work that required dirty hands. Now it is an attraction for dragonflies, water birds - and photographers.
